Let the ski god be praised, let his gifts bestow.

* Ullr is the Nordic mythical god of snow. There is a well established ritual at all resorts wishing snow to conduct a group session. It is held right at sunset every evening in or near an establishment at the mountain base that provides lubricants to the chanters as they invoke the pleasures of the snow god Ullr. The words have been translated from the original Nordic chant.

Looking for snow and not prepared to put your hopes on this traditional ritual? Well, what about joining us on our last Extended Trip of the season to Killington, Vermont, March 25-30. Currently they have a reported base of more than two feet with more in the forecast. They certainly know how to appease Ullr. The resort covers over 400 acres of terrain, has 38 miles of trails and is the top rated ski area in the eastern USA. And sorry to report that all of the other Extended Trips are totally sold out. Again this season, our week long and overnight trips are very popular and fill up very quickly.

However there is always room for our club members and as many of their guests as they wish to bring along on any of our many Day Trips -- Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Click on the menu bar under Day Trips for all the details. We travel in style via modern highway coaches with each trip starting and finishing at one convenient location here in Burlington. And don't forget to participate in our ever popular TIPS sessions when you come out on these Day Trips. We can all improve and this is an opportunity you should not miss... plus you get to meet some of the best people on the hills.
