Welcome to Winter 2013 / 2014. While most of us are thinking of summer, warm sunshine, cottages, camping, sailing, biking, etc. your Club Directors are diligently working at finalizing the Extended Trips and the Day Trips Schedules for this coming season. Working from the suggestions and submissions provided by you, the members, and shared with everyone at our recent AGM, it is the goal of the Club Directors to have all the Extended Trips completely finalized by the end of June. Yes, just a few weeks away. Not an easy task but one that will again be handled on your behalf. As in the past, it is the intention of the Club Directors to announce the details of the Extended Trips at the Club's Summer BBQ.

For those of you who missed the AGM, we are pleased to announce two new Club Directors -- Michelle (Shelley) Speal and Tim Ryder. They replace Fed Bakes and Brian Halstead whose terms as directors have expired. And we are pleased to welcome back Audrey Beniach for her second term. And also for the information of those unable to attend the AGM, the membership has approved a proposal presented at that meeting for the Club to proceed with the task of looking into major website upgrades that will enhance on-line registration for Extended Trips, Day Trips and Membership Applications, and possibly on-line payment.

This is advance notice of the Club's Annual BBQ and golf outing, again being hosted at the "Wagg Estate" in Freelton. Yes, there will be a reminder and information for registration for the golf. That notice will be sent out in mid June. So mark your calendar.
